My todays article I dedicate to SYLD Store Berlin Frankfurter Allee. Since almost a year I'm working with wonderful Inga, founder of her own label Berlina Pflanze and SYLD Store, and I must say, it was a pleasure ever since.
The capital letters, that remind of beautiful islands in the German North Sea, mean "Support Your Local Designers (and artists)". A well curated selection of locally produced, fair and handmade fashion and accessories, as well as art.
Not only designers from Berlin can be found here: creations from Copenhagen, Hamburg, Munich and Hannover are waiting for female, as well as male customers, a range of unisex apparel and the possibility to get custom made options, according to your needs and measurements. With it's excellent selection of exclusive brands SYLD Store made it into the Tip (Berlins biggest city magazine) Top 16 of "Best Shops for Fashion Design".
Not only established independent labels get the chance to be part of SYLD Store. The shop is giving a platform to creatives that are just yet starting out and do not have the resources and time to run an own shop and need a little help to be discovered by their target customers. A great mix of new and known talents can be found here.

On the 27th of September 2018 SYLD celebrated their first birthday. The musical entertainment for this unforgettable evening: Dr. Motte and DJ Jauche, founder of the Love Parade and pioneers o the German techno scene.
Along with the special designer sale and a contest with amazing prices you could get a hand drawn tattoo from Henna Körperkunst Berlin or a fresh styling from Berlin hair saloon STILMONOPOL. We are definitely looking forward to another year of SYLD and the next birthday soiree!
